In 1975, the first Camp Echoing Hills travel opportunity hit the road, offering adults with developmental disabilities a chance to get out and see the world, while enjoying excellent care and great Christian fellowship. Since then, hundreds of people with physical disabilities have traveled to dozens of destinations around the United States, even to Europe. Travelers have journeyed to Disney World, the Grand Canyon, Washington, D.C., New York City, Chicago, Nashville, Boston and Cape Cod, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. They have enjoyed cruises on the Caribbean, and a trip to Austria and the Passion Play at Oberammergau, Germany.
